Train for The Philadelphia Full/Half Marathon with Team Philly!

TEAM PHILLY Race Training was created to support the Philadelphia area’s beginner to intermediate runners in their aspirations of living healthy and improving their running. Powered by Philly legends Philadelphia Runner and The Rothman Institute, who bring their special expertise, resources and services to this comprehensive and unparalleled program including: running coaching/apparel, fitness cross-training and strength conditioning, and injury prevention and treatment.

  • Join us for the official kick-off to the 2014 Philadelphia Full and Half Marathon Training! We will be going over the training program, dynamic warmup and answering any questions you might have. The first official group run of the season will follow directly afterwards! Half Marathoners should be prepared to cover 2 miles or more, Marathoners should be ready to cover 8 miles or more.

    Still not sure? Join us to meet the team and see if Team Philly is for you (it is!). Anyone who wants to join can pay at the kick off!

Whether you are training for a race, working on getting back into shape, or just looking for a few people to help knock a few miles out, our group runs are a fun and laid back way to spend an hour of your weekday evening. Each one of our three locations has a weekly group run: Center City:

  • Thursdays at 6PM
  • 1601 Sansom St
  • 3-5 miles
  • All paces and levels welcome

University City

  • Wednesdays at 6PM
  • 3621 Walnut (between 36th and 37th)
  • 3-5 miles
  • All paces and levels welcome

Glen Mills

  • Tuesdays at 9:30AM
  • Thursdays at 6PM
  • 571 Glen Eagle Square, Glen Mills, Pa.
  • 3-5 miles
